SpacePort

SpacePort is an automated export manager for the excellent Pixel Space Background Generator program by Deep-Fold. When exporting an image from the generator, it writes a 'Space Background.png' image file to its own directory. Subsequent exports automatically overwrite this file. SpacePort enhances this process by monitoring for any exported images, automatically moving them to an 'exports' subfolder, and renaming them to prevent overwriting. Furthermore, SpacePort monitors the colorscheme and feature selections used for each exported image and logs this information to a CSV file for reference. These enhancements will allow users to focus fully on art creation in Pixel Space Background Generator and export an unlimited number of images without worrying about file management at the same time.

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

• PC running Windows 7+ x64 (Windows 11 untested)
• Pixel Space Background Generator by Deep-Fold

INSTALLATION

Manually extract SpacePort.exe from the ZIP archive to the same folder as Pixel Space Background Generator (SpaceBackground.exe).

NOTE: SpacePort must have file read/write permissions in the installation folder to create, rename, and move files as needed.

USAGE

Run SpacePort.exe. The program runs in the background and does not have a standard window interface. Access all functions by right-clicking the program's icon in the System Tray. When Pixel Space Background Generator is launched, SpacePort will show a short series of dialog boxes to configure monitoring of the generator's color presets. When complete, SpacePort's tray icon will change to show monitoring is active. (This configuration will need to be performed each time the program is launched.) 

UNINSTALLING

Delete SpacePort.exe from the folder where it is installed.
