Age of Plenty

Age of Plenty is a standalone software utility that allows custom population limits for the Age of Empires Definitive Edition single-player campaigns.

FEATURES

• Set any custom population limit from 1-250
• Standalone and portable. Age of Plenty makes no changes to system files, the registry, or any other applications
• Works offline
• No data collection or reporting

NOTES:

• Age of Plenty reads and modifies the population data in memory while the game is running. This might trigger a false positive in some antivirus programs.
• If you create a save game file while Age of Plenty is running, the save file will retain the customized population value.

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

• PC running Windows 7+ x64
• Age of Empires Definitive Edition (Steam)

INSTALLATION, USAGE,  & UPDATING

• Manually extract all files from the ZIP archive to desired location. (Recommended directory: C:\Programs\Ageofplenty\)
• Run Ageofplenty.exe. Set the 'Max Population Override' value to the desired limit, leave Age of Plenty running, then launch Age of Empires DE. Age of Plenty will detect the game and update the population limit automatically.
• To update to a new version, extract the latest ZIP archive over the current installation and overwrite all files. Your settings file will not be affected.

NOTE: Age of Plenty must have file read/write permissions in the installation folder to save and load settings.

UNINSTALLING

Delete the Age of Plenty installation folder, all subfolders and files.

NOTE: To preserve your settings, do NOT delete the ageofplenty_settings.ini file. Copy it to a safe location before removing the program folder.
